    c7501 Image Issue

Hi, All. I am working on this toner scattering beast, and wondered if anyone has seen this particular problem. Here's the situation. I had magenta dropping toner everywhere, so I put new blades, brush, lube bar and drum into the pcu. I ran 50 magenta horizontal band test prints on 8 1/2 x 11 with no problems at all. When I ran the customers job on 11x17 80lb stock, these globby magenta splotches show up on 3 or 4 out of ten. Spill plate is clean. I'll be danged if I can identify the problem with the magenta PCU. Everything looks good.

Guess what I found when I was cleaning off my workbench? It looks like the drive coupler that goes onto the end of the brush roller of the offending PCU. That would certainly explain the splotches Thank God it's Friday. Everyone have a great weekend!

I put one together yesterday, but i didn't get the coupler snapped on all the way, it was still in place but not driving the shaft, same toner dropping problem.
