MPC3003 locked print jobs !

    MPC3003 locked print jobs !

    HI,

    hopely some can help me on this:
    Installed a MPC3003 yesterday.
    Customer uses the "locked print" function a lot.
    He sends many jobs to the printer, however, when the total of
    jobs of 100 files is reached and when printing above the 100 the printer gives an error type:

    "exceeded max.number of files to print for temporary / stored jobs"

    Strange, the HDD gives an 96% free space to use.
    Does anyone know how to change the limit for storing more files for temporary printing jobs?
    He didn't have this problem on an MPC4000

      I've done this before...

      The max number of stored jobs can be raised from 100 to 1000 using Printer Bit Switch 5 bit 4. Change it from '0' to '1'.
      Note: There must currently be no documents stored on the device in order to change the value of the bit switch.

          Firstly I would make sure that "Auto Delete Temporary Print Jobs" in [Printer Features][Data Management] is set on, if that doesn't help see details belowCapture.jpg
