    C7501 "set fuser correctly"

Hi, All. Can anybody tell me about fuser set? Is this a problem with the rear connector, or is there a set switch of some sort. I did a normal belt replacement on it, now it's down. This machine is really starting to piss me off.

The fuser has a link wire accross 2 pins at the rear upper connector on the fuser itself. My bet is you have a problem on the fuser connector top rear just under the plastic top lid. Also note this link is set in 2 different pins depending on model range 7500 or 7501. Incorrect position or disconnection of this small link wire causes the message.

Good call, Daryl. That's exactly what the problem was. I'll give you a rep bump for saving me from replacing the harnesses. Have a great day.
