    MPC7501 lite copies

    replaced all developer material 5 months ago (only 80k). Customer called in with lite copies. looked at the developer units and ALL the developer was gone from all units??? only 900k on the unit. Customer runs 50/50 on color/BW copies. Developer was sucked into waste toner bottle. any ideas welcomed

      Are you using Genuine Ricoh toner and developer? Some developer is pulled to the drum during copying. That is why Genuine Ricoh toner for this model line includes a small portion of developer. This why you cannot use toner for this model as dusting powder for the drums.

          check the quenching lamp
