MP 171 5-804 output check doesn't work like the mp 161

With mp 161 you could turn on different functions at same time. example turn on main motor escape out to 5-804 then go back in and turn on reg clutch and watch it turn. MP 171 doesn't do this any more. Has Ricoh done away with or is there a firmware fix.
