1- Open up yellow pages telephone book.
2- Look for Independent Copier Technicians / companies.
3- Call them up, make appointment.
4- Mix up a batch of margaritas so you'll be in fine form when the tech arrives.
5- Greet the technician, explain the problem, go back to drinking the margaritas.
6- When he is finished, thank him and pay him.
7- Go back to finishing up those margaritas.

There are 2 companies in Jakarta that are Ricoh recommended.
          Modern Photo - ModernPhoto

This is all standard stuff and they should be able to help.
          Good luck.

The easiest thing to try is cleaning the laser slit glasses with the long brush inside the front door. there are four openings to slide it into (one for each color drum unit in the machine. If that doesn't work, you will most likely need to replace the drum and/or developer units for the colors in question. Also make sure the machine is level front to back, if it is not, developer can migrate to one end of the development units and cause a similar problem.
Don't take that toner with me!

Also, there was a firmware update on this.

                  "CAUSE:
Software bug: The laser optics shutter does not open correctly.
                  SOLUTION:
                  Production line
The engine firmware was modified to correct this symptom.
                  New version:
                  V1.11.01"

I had this problem myself. Density was not even across page. Firmware
                  update fixed it.

                  Regards
