ricoh 2045 problem reset paper jam alarm

after removing paper jam.. paper jam alarm wont turn off.. i should run 5801 to reset machine code. but after a few copies paper jam again and there is no way to get rid of paper jam alarm ..i replaced ld board flat cable.. door switches.. psu. bicu main board nv ram hard disk.. there is no chance\
can someone help me out to solve the problem.

My guess would be a door switch or you are not opening all the doors that it shows to open. If it does not see all the doors that the display indicates to open being opened and then closed, it will not clear the jam indication.

Old machine, had this issue many times, especially when the machine is cold first thing in the morning. Pull the scanner assembly off and the cover to the paper exit section located above the fuser.
clean and lube the rollers and actuators.

if paper jam before registration roller after removing paper i open and close all the doors and there is no problem.. if paper jam after drum unit or fusing unit paper jam wont reset

Old machine, had this issue many times, especially when the machine is cold first thing in the morning. Pull the scanner assembly off and the cover to the paper exit section located above the fuser.
clean and lube the rollers and actuators.

I used to have customers call with this problem on 35 and 45 page models. I would go out and open and close the "C" jam door, the one above the fusing unit. If that did not clear the problem, I would disconnect and the reconnect the switch for the "C" door. I would then order the switch.

The paper feed sensor (AW01 0061) could be dirty or defective

Is there any chance the wiring harness that goes across the exit roller shaft in that area could be causing this problem? Before I started taping up and rerouting that wiring harness whenever I had the scanner off those machines, I only saw the machine shut off unexpectedly as 5v got shorted to ground through the roller shaft after the insulation on the wires got rubbed off.
I suppose that wiring harness could cause a problem like this, but I've never seen that happen so I'm not sure.

replaced the right door switch cable . problem solved. thanks anyway
