    Can NVRAM be intermittent, or is it only either good or bad? Thank you for any help possible.

      Depends what sort of fault you are experiencing.
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
