Come on guys, let's take a chill pill. We have someone here with 40 years of experience, he has probably been pushed away by now, maybe if we were a little more civil he would become a more regular contributor. He hasn't been rude, the original post in this thread was only 4 weeks ago, so he's hardly gone grave digging.
Somco tech, I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to your question so I can't be of any assistance, I hope someone else will come back with the solution for you. We are actually one big happy family on here, I can only assume the sun is causing tempers to fray

Thanks. I at least know that there are some decent folks here.

I have learned one thing over the years with almost EVERY web forum (no matter what the subject) that I have seen if you don't post daily then you are pretty much ignored which breeds animosity which leads to a lot of folks moving on. We have always formed little small universes where we feel good self righteous and safe. The unfortunate part is at that point your forum loses all usefulness for which it was formed to start with. The other thing I have noticed is there is always one or two posters that drive new folks away (now I wonder why that might be?)

I as I posted above only was trying not to order parts that I didn't need but I used the shotgun approach (don't like doing that) and in the end its $40 worth of parts. That is a lot better than the power supplies I have been throwing at it so it at least is a start.

I have always had issues trying to get any help from Ricoh on problem machines thus the frustration, I saw this post and thought finally someone else has had this issue and I can finally get it sorted.
Like I said in my previous, there is a distinct possibility that he has not even been in at CTN since you PMed him and therefore has not yet seen your PM or anything that you have posted in this thread. Hell, I sometimes may take a couple of weeks to respond even to PMs from friends.

I feel for ya. I can't stand to be ignored either. most techs get along even from different companies. but sounds to me like it might be the dev contacts. let us know which one u replace and which fixes you ur issue. If I post something or even see a tech in the field and they ask me something I would tell them what I can to help them out. but if their a jerk then u tell them to move on. good luck

One of our engineers copped for this and had to replace the PCU, dev unit and dev HV board as a set. Something went severely bang in that thing.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

            Hit it.

Sorry for the delay. Have not been on this site due to personal issues. The part numbers are B247 1154, B065 3262, B065 1137.
I sincerely hope this helps with your problem. The site is fantastic and of great value to me and others.

Again I am very sorry for the delay

Thanks for the response. I used the shotgun approach yesterday (ironic) and replace all holders and contacts on the rear frame of the machine. It took about 2.5 hours but I ran 250-300 copies without code so we will see
