    SPc821dn can't pull up WIM on computer

    Copy tech NOT IT guy needs help! I have a customer that bought this printer from Canada and he is locked out to change settings. It came with a weird IP address like 203.299.276.200 and his network is using normal 192.168 type numbers. The problem is we can't change the IP address of auto abtain because machine gives me "You do not have these privileges" . So, if I cannot get the Web Monitor page to even show up on his computer how can I change the IP address on a printer. If I could just get the Web Monitor to show up I can take it from there regardless if someone has change the admin password. If this situation was on a MPC copier I would have no problem.

      Can you get into service mode so you can check the setting of sp 5985?? If that's set to "2" you can only print to the printer you will not get the WIM.....

          Temporary place a PC in static ip mode ad set its ip to 203.299.276.XXX range.
          Then you can get to WIM on the printer and change what you have to.

              Tonerbomb, are you talking about factory mode because I show no 5985 in my service manual in SP mode?

                  Try SP 5828-091 Web On/Off. 1=Enable.
