    @remote server gui login issues

    Hi

    Any one had issues logging in since the server gui was updated?
    I'm getting software failed to load I'm using IE 11 Windows 7 64

    I've tried all my usual tricks, compatibility mode doesn't work, making sure the VC++ is loaded, historya and biffer etc deleted...

    Any ideas?

    Its funny in the notes on the page it says the update was for compatibly with Win 7 64 and IE 11 but it was working perfectly before hand...... ;-/

    Hi drwevil,

    Are you referring to an @Remote Basil box (100 device) ?

    Install and use Firefox to access the GUI.

    I had the same issue with IE 11.

    Hope this helps.

      na the actual server GUI ... the administration back end to @remote. i.e. looking at the actual server farm in Japan (or our little paddock of it) ;-)

      I can log in but it won't load the software to run the site..... we don't have any appliances but i need to register some Cumin devices but can't get onto the server GUI.....

      They always screw it up when they upgrade. I might have to wait till windows 10 comes out...

      The problem I'm having isn't just on my laptop its all the PC's at work which just happen to be Win 7 64 bit.

      A while ago there was a glitch where if it happened to run on Win 7 64 bit you were good but if it didn't it wouldn't no matter what you did. but that was about 3 years ago.

            Apparently you are not alone with this ! had the same problem and if you are running x64 windows you need to install both Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 x86 and x64

            Once you have done that make sure you run IE as administrator and it should then install the necessary .cab file to get you back on
