I believe he said he replaced the PCU and cleaned the Optics. What "Original" setting is being used for exposure - Text, Photo, Text/Photo? Has the setting for Auto Exposure been changed - on the screen or in SP Mode? Also check the "Birth Certificate" for any settings that somebody might have changed. Are test prints OK as well?

          Hi.

Can you please give some info about this? What can we do with it?

          Thanks

The scanner assembly itself could be bent down (or up) where the bracket mounts to the machine. It would more than likely be darker (or lighter) on the top (or bottom) of the copy but it's worth a shot.

There has been MANY posts on this issue and I have experienced it as well. My issue was repaired by replacing the laser unit.

Try doing a memory clear on copier application ONLY

Used to be a dirty or damaged white reference strip in the optics cavity could cause this, the machine will automatically adjust exposure lighter to compensate.
Funny thing about that, the white reference strip gets contaminated so slowly that many people would subconsciously excuse that for quite a while. Then one day they would compare a print to a copy, and say "Yuck! This copy is awful!".
Also I have tweaked the scanner manual gamma settings for problems like this, but I am not trained on this machine so I don't know if that adjustment is available.
