Morning Chaps. I'm not equitrac trained but in the past RUK engineers have installed for us. I hope to readup on it soon in fact tried last night but all the equitrac reading has been moved to nuance and unable to access it still. We have a 7501 with equitrac already installed and a card reader. The customer will be having a small team of staff in their manchester office being connected by vpn to their london office and want the current machine to be connected to their equitrac server in london. Im going to install a second nic firstly but the question arises as to wether i will need a 2nd card reader on the machine?.
Both the manchester staff and the london staff in the same office are required to print to the device and there is an equitrac server in both the manchester and london offices and both offices currently do not sit on the same network. Any advice would be greatly appreciated or if you could link me to some reading or videos. Regards
*edit actually now ive thought about it you can't have a 2nd nic without disabling the first one? and the gigabit one is it just used for fiery installs?
