[Error Code] Ricoh c2800 replace toner error

Hi All
I don't do a lot of work on copiers, tend to be more printer orientated now. But a customer is having a problem with a c2800 reports toner error, pumps appear to be good, happens with cyan and yellow toners only they only use oem replacements. If the chips are wiped on the toners and put back in they are recognized again machine is clean inside, any suggestions would be helpful.

Remove the developer units is there toner in the feed hole? if there is the dv unit is failing if the hole is empty you can pretty much bet on the pump being bad. that is!! if it is saying the toner is empty. if it does not reconize the toner bottle the the readers are bad or the toners are defective GOOD LUCK
