It's a print job that the machine doesn't know how to process, usually printing from a web page. Easiest way to clear it is, switch the machine off, open the paper tray and switch back on again, when the print jobs arrives back at the machine you can now reset it...voila!!!

As has been posted, this is usually from printing from web pages. Specifically, though it is usually a PCL error with scalable fonts that corrupts the memory and crashes the MFP. So in most cases the print job is coming from a PC set up with a PCL driver.
The fix is to update the firmware- specifically the PCL firmware, but you should do at minimum System, Engine and PCL.
If you check the firmware history for the PCL firmware you will usually see specific mentions of updates addressing sc899 issues.
It also helps to set up the port config in the driver with LPR protocol instead of RAW, give the queue name lp (that's "LP" in lowercase) and click the box for "LPR byte count enabled."

Hi There.
Many thanks for that. It was as mentioned due to trying to print from the web. Have done as you suggested updated firmware etc and all working fine. Actually sorted this a couple of weeks ago but still appreciate your help. Thanks again
