[Misc] MP 7001 Maximum Memory Stick

The standard memory for this copier is 512Mb and Maximum is 1.5 Gb.
The combination can be one 512MB and one 1024MB inserted in 2 slots.
Can it run with two 1024 MB memory sticks? or one 2Gb memory?
Please advise. Thanks.

My guess would be that if you put in two 1 GB cards, it would still only use 1.5 GB of the total memory without some type of change to the firmware. If you were to have a customer wanting multiple machines and do not want anything with less than 2 GB of memory, Ricoh might be willing to write you a custom firmware. There is a procedure for requesting custom firmware and there could be a charge to do so.
