try to replace the toner waste motor.... check your sensor around waste.....
fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.

Try cleaning the collection coil and piping from the toner recyling pump
this can be a bit messy so make sure you have your vacuum.

Also there is a small motor which coils toner into the bottle which has a sensor on it make sure the coil moves freely.

Tonerjock is right....Pull the back off the machine and in the lower left quadrant (as viewing from the rear) you'll find the waste toner coil assembly. The coil that feeds waste toner directly to the bottle has a gear on a coil shaft with a spring holding it forward in the feed tube that empties to the bottle itself. When the bottle is full it backs up the coil and compresses the spring moving the entire shaft rearward. This action actuates the switch behind the shaft and gear assembly...........

Anyway, try manually moving it in/out to free it up.
