    Safecom on ricoh machines

    Hi everyone

    Has anyone eva had dealings with this software on ricoh machines if so I have a couple of issuse with it and need some help please would someone point me in the right direction

    Never heard of it, is it a Ricoh supported APP????????????

        I did a quick search: SafeCom Smart Printing Solutions and for supported model and the requires JAVA level Ricoh | Nuance

        As with all JAVA apps, check that you have the latest version for your MFP.

          A lot of my machines are running SafeCom, I'm not trained on this solution, but know a little (a very little) about it. It's similar to Equitrac, but far more flaky, it's quite important to keep the device and Java firmware up to date to minimise SafeCom lock-ups. One of the main issues I've seen with it is the machine displaying Out Of Order, this happens when it loses communication with the SafeCom server, the system IT should be able to resolve that. That's about the level of my knowledge
