    Ricoh Pro C901 Fiery problem

    Hi,
Recently we bought two used Ricoh Pro C901 with E-81 Fiery.
Today we tried to start it, and after solving some problems machine is working, except Fiery connection.
There is error Connection to Fiery disconnected.Press the operational switch etc..
I'm Xerox technician and not familiar with this Ricoh model.
So, we know that we have to start powering from left to right (trimmer, folder, machine and Fiery).
I have connected crossover cable from Fiery (ethernet port with copier picture) to machine (left eth port SCAN\)
When Fiery power up system, Command Work Station shows IP 10.0.0.197, and on machine IP is 10.0.0.221

Am I missing some settings and setups or there is other problem. Anyone have SM for or installation guide this Fiery

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you

Re: Ricoh Pro C901 Fiery problem

The E-81 has the FACI kit on board and enabled from the factory, that means you and connect a monitor keyboard and mouse directly to it. You can the run the Fiery as a workstation and access CWS right from the Fiery and see the messages from there.Make sure you are using a cat 6 (gigabit) cable between the Fiery and the c901, not a crossover cable...................
