    Ricoh SP C831dn with SC672-10 error

    I normally work on HP and Lexmark. Have a customer with a Ricoh SP C831dn color printer with a SC672-10 error. Tried rebooting, reseated controller board, hard drive. No luck. Anybody have manual for this unit? Thanks Dave

      Could be a communication error between the controller and the operation panel.

          Pretty simple, but throwing it out there since not use to Ricoh silliness - there is a bulletin (TSB-001) about the power (ON/OFF) switch being too close to the cover surrounding it, and when the machine tries to kick off for energy save (using a solenoid) the cover blocks the switch from correctly powering down, causing the code. Usually logs an SC-819 first, then 672-10. Good luck!
