    Ricoh MP2550

Got a returning problem in this machine !
Paper is feeding from drawer 1 an mostley it runs oke.
But somethimes it is "folding" in the middle op the paper, no jam.

changed the heater unit twice !
It can run for hundred op pages oke and than suddenly the folding!

    someone a clue here?
No such problem on cass2, which has headed paper, but runs not that often.
Blanco paper is Ricoh paper, should be ok

    Thanks in advance

It folds in the middle? Does it leave a crease down the middle of the paper or it creases the very top of the page? As if it is hitting something coming out of the tray?

Also as someone thats new could you explain what types of issues a worn registration clutch could cause?

I had this once. Every tenth copy from tray 1 had a z-fold in it. I noticed that the folded sheets were 8 1/2 X 11 without undoing the fold. I checked the paper in the drawer and found that the fold had occurred before the paper had been cut to size.
