Have been finding lately that the feed tyres for the LCT are not lasting nearly as long as they're rated for. Typically start failing after 130K compared to their supposed life of 1000K. Even finding Torque Limiters that need replacing at the same time, something I've hardly ever had to replace before. Anyone else having this issue, any mods or fixes?? Cheers.

I know the XX80 rollers don't go the 1M that they are spec'd for but failing after only 130K sounds way to early. What type of paper and what environment are they in. If they are using any type of coated paper or NCR paper they should be using the old black 300K rollers, AF0071, AF1041 and AF2041 as recommended for the Pro 1357EX in the Product Support Guide.Comment

It's not one particular customer, it's literally every unit we have out there! So various brands of stock, 80gsm and in normal office environments. I did have one where the paper was quite damp, but other than that it's the sep & feed rollers that deem to wear out way too soon.Comment

That sounds about right bud, the feed mechanisms on these devices are absolutely crap.
I always replaced feed rollers regularly on these models, the amount of feed stations I have had to replace is massive so yeah, just continue what your doingComment

Re: MPC6502/8002 RT4020 LCT Jams
Those numbers don't seem to exist here in NZ, the only part numbers for the Baron LCT's (RT5070 & RT5080) that we have listed are (pick up) AF030080 (feed) AF031083 & (sep) AF032080 which are for the AF2090 and the like. I wonder if we carry different units to other countries?Comment
