Samsung 5935 duplex issue

When trying to do 2 sided copies or printing, it will always print on 2 separate pages, as if you never programmed for 2 sided.
I could not duplicate this problem on a 5935 I have in our shop.
On the machine that wont duplex the paper won't stop when its 1/2 way out and go back in to do the 2nd side.
It comes out and then the machine feeds the 2nd paper and prints it as though you wanted 2 separate pages.
It wont work with 1 sided to 2 sided or 2 sided to 2 sided

Bad board? Which one?

first, I would swap out the duplex assembly, if you have one available, otherwise it sounds like a sensor actuator broken for sensor..
when you double side, is the original being flipped over by the document feeder?....otherwise the copier thionks your copying 2 sided copy using the glass..so make sure the document feeder is working properly..just a couple things you can try...good luck,mate !
