SL-4300LX slow after installing firmware after V6.C6.16

Hello,

Since we installed the firmware that got released after V6.C6.16 (V6.D6.xx) we noticed that after a couple of days the machine got really really slow, almost not usable. When we print it takes a long time before the print shows. We can't open the webpage aswell. We have to shutdown the machine and turn it on again.

In the new firmware they released "my workspace". Sometimes the machines tries to start it up after a reboot even though i disabled "my workspace" on the webpage. I tried to send log files and create movie files to send to Samsung HQ korea, but still no luck.

Does anybody ever had problems with speed on the X4300?

Make sure the service pack is installed. Install the service pack then the software. Maybe reinstall service pack and software. Keep older firmware incase of a problem like this one. I don't have any X4300's but did go to school on them. That version software was not available then. V6.D6.13 is latest software.

What service pack do you mean? I download the latest firmware from the samsung portal but there is no service pack

They put out a service pack in V6.C6.07 it is 6.9k. Look at one of the menus on the copier that has all the icons. Maybe they embed it in the software now. It was service pack V1.4.2. .
