CLX 6220 still works but is displaying { prepare a fuser unit.} when I go out to replace it, is there a reset that I have to perform or dose auto reset happen when you power up the unit. Thanks for replies.

I don't have any of those and my SCX-5935 has not come up with that. I don't know if you have the service manual but it does not say anything to do which does not mean much. Push 1,2,3 at same time and input 1934 to get to service mode. My guess is it has a fuse on it that maybe it will know. I will be interested on what you find.

Im thinking you need to get into service ode and clear out th counter, I know some do it automatically, and some dont, then go into service mode to clear. You'll find out after you replace the fuser..just have to scout around service mode, if it doesnt clear...good luck,mate
