HDD replacement Samsung 9250 9350

Hello

I need to replace HDD because of s1-3110 error.

Do I need HDD from Samsung or can I clone HDD from working machine and use just cloned HDD to work with another mfp?
I know I will need a firmware but I would like to know if I will need anything else?
Is it possible to buy just a HDD image (not hard disk but just image) and copy it to a new HDD?

I would like to buy it if someone has it for sale.

i have never tried cloning so not sure. If you do try that and it works let us know

i just put in 320GB Western Digital drives in and flash the recovery software/firmware then do regular firmware update as well.

I find once you replace the HDD once it doesnt fail again. and our HDD failure rate is extremely high on Samsung so if i have any left that havent had hdd replaced i make sure i have a backup of all settings
