    Samsung C9350ND Power Saver

Hello I am looking for some advise with this machine. It does not go into power saver mode when I use key button. I set also time for 2 minutes and it does not work too. Also very often (not always) I cannot turn the machine off using OPE power button.

Machine reboot from the service mode.

    Please advise?

I have checked OPE, DC Power and SMPS PBA but no luck. Any advise? What else should I check?
Power button works after turning the machine on but power saver button does not work. Led flash on green like it should when turning but it's only give a sound when is pressed.

The 9350 was Samsung's first try at the A3 market and it was a buggy box. My two suggestions would be to make sure you have latest f/w (I don't give out f/w, but someone else may be able to help you) or try re-imaging the machine or a main memory clear. I've had to re-image the HDD or do main memory clear a bunch of times on these machines to fix weird issues.
Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?

Thanks for your reply. I believe firmware can be an issue. I have done memory clear twice but it does not help.
According to the part manual I may need HDD (JC59-00031A) but I am wondering if it comes with image file already loaded or I will need a separate image file? Do you know if I can swap HDD between machines for test?

You will need the image file if you install a new hard drive. And the image file is different then the f/w file. Not sure about swapping HDD from another machine. My guess would be if the other machine is at the same f/w level you should be fine, but if they're at different levels you might create new issues.

Thanks a lot for an explanation.
I will try update firmware first as I do not have access for the image file. If anybody know where can I get or purchase the image file please let me know.
