    MX7 Series ADF double-feeding

    Has anybody heard reports of double-feeding from the MX7 ADF's? I have a customer who does a very high volume of scans (10k+ per month) who is getting intermittent double-feeding. The machine won't jam, it just sucks two pages through at a time. I don't have a lot of these boxes in the field and this is by far my biggest scanning count. I've already replaced the ADF under warranty, but the problem came back after a couple weeks. The paper is not at issue, it's mostly freshly printed docs that are getting scanned. Their table-top HP MFP works fine! I'm just curious if anyone else has seen it?
    Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?

    I'm presuming it's an LX model with DSDF. Try replacing the following as your new ADF under warranty may have been unmodified.

    DSDF-PICKUP (JC97-04623A) - Check that the new one is marked after 16.04.15 (15th Apr, 2016).

    DSDF-HOUSING SEPARATION (JC97-04621A) - The grey pad is longer than black sheet on it by 2mm.
    PAD GUIDE PICKUP (JC69-01326A) - Material is changed. New one has coarse texture.

      Hello,

      I'm having the same problem with a customer that has a X7400LX. It's double feeding and is using good quality 80 grams paper. Did the solution that was provided work?

        Yes it did. Talk to your Samsung tech rep to get the info. I searched the bulletins on GSPN site and there was nothing there about this issue, but Samsung sent me a bulletin they had about the issue and it was about changing those parts. After I did that, the double-feeding went away.
