    SCX 8240ND Samsung Logo

    This copier boots only to the Samsung logo.

    Weird thing is I can print, and log in to the syncthru web service just fine.

    I'm going to update the firmware over the network. But do you guys have any advice if the update fails?

    Not sure, but the UI Firmware version is showing 'N/A'.
    Maybe, the display firmware is corrupted - a firmware update may take care of the problem.
    Reseating connections wouldn't hurt.

      Good catch! Didn't notice that.

      Unfortunately, I don't have access to firmware so for now I'm waiting for the firmware from a local distributor that we purchase parts from. It's good to network with people, never know when you need a favor.

      I'll let you guys know if the update helps.

      So far I'm thinking Firmware, then HDD, then main board.

        UPDATE: (For future lurkers who will have the same problem)

        Did a firmware update - it failed. All the versions updated except for UI.
        I contacted Samsung, they said for sure it's the Operation Panel. I replaced the 8.9 inch Operation Panel with a new 10.1 updated OPE unit, and it worked beautifully.
