Got a samsung that needed a drum replacement due to it making streaking copies. Replaced the drum unit with a new one. Installed and got this error right away. Put the old drum back in and got the same error. Can not get it to clear. I have tried everything the tech guides tell with no avail. Any help appreciated!

Got it figured out for reference to anyone in the future with this problem.

The new drum units come with the rear case that covers/connects the DV unit to the drum unit. However, the new unit does not include the coupler drive gear on the cover. This needs to either be transfered to the new rear cover or just use the old cover.

Hi everyone

I know this is old post but for future references it good to share my experiance on this problem.

1. I know is even I replace imaging unit and I reinstalled the mantioned idler gear it still the same problem,
Solution is I have to replace the main board. before I change it I notice the Toner dispaner motor doesn't works when test it from service mode and i try swap from other working machine and also the same doesn't work. in this situattion I tried replace the main board and the machine ready to copy then.
2. one I experiance it comes from HVT PWB fault. after replace the HVT the error gone.
