remove tray 3 pick up unit? SL-X4300LX

Im struggling to remove tray 3 pick up unit

I got out tray 4 unit ok.

I though it might help but it didnt.

it looks like if the paper cabinet didnt have the copier ontop of it it might be easier but that seems like a lot of work going onsite with 2 techs to lift it?

if anyone can point me to spot in service manual that shows the disassembly procedure, because I cant find it, that would be great.

never mind i realized the paper tray rail had to be removed also.

i swear i couldnt find that procedure in manual but im not use to the Samsung manuals

1) get the friggin manual
2) study it B$ you go out
3) plan to take ALL covers ( yes poss. scanner ) off
4) take your time
5) LOOK at it at every tear down stage .. you might spot a trick that the manual doesn't mention (samsucks was good for that)
6) be Wary Wary careful trying to get ANY plastic based life form out of ANY samsucks units..

1) get the friggin manual

not a fan of the Samsung service manual. i always struggle to find the info i need.

2) study it B$ you go out

i ended up stripping down one in workshop before i went out from our huge bone yard of returned Samsungs. so glad they gave up on copiers.

In the end the only problem was i had to clear the jam code using some option called fuser wrap.

so after all that i didnt even need to remove it in first place.

i hate working on brands that you only touch once a month or so
