Samsung Multixpress X4300XL - Error

Hi,

I have a samsung Multixpress X4300XL copier and I am showing an error.

Transfer belt cleaning unit worn. Replace .......

I do not have a copy repair company locally who work on Samsung and I cannot find a service manual online.

Can some one advise on how to remove and replace this unit or give me a link to a service manual.

I can find the part on line and looking into the copier it appears to be mounted to the left hand side of the drum units but I do not see a release lever.

You are a end user if need service manual you need to place thread in service manuals required forum just so you know it come out the right hand side you well need to remove the cleaning unit 1st that's in front left to the drums

Thanks Mark. I will add a request in the manual section. Regarding your message above it's the cleaning unit I am looking to change. It looks like I remove the waste container and it should pull out but it does not seem to pull and I am wondering if there is a release lever or process to get it out. Thanks

If quality is still ok I would just reset the life counter

Thanks guys. The print quality is perfect so a reset might work. I entered service mode but could not find a counter reset.

I will try to request the ser ice manual and see if there are I instructions.

Just a thought but can you reset the counters from the normal menu. In service mode under maintenance parts it lists my transfer belt cleaning unit as 1 so I am assuming it has been replaced once and maybe the counter for it was not reset. It does not have a number or time counter.
