Samsung X4220 unable to copy/print after reset?

    Hi all

I am working on a Samsung X4220rx which had lost it's network connection.

The memory clear was performed and now I can't copy or print. I cannot even access the network settings due to a login requirement (see pic).

When pressing 'settings', I kept getting a message 'System is not yet ready, please try again after some time'. ( see pic). However eventually I can but get the login screen.

My suspicion is maybe the HDD is corrupt and that I will need to reload the software however another observation was that all the consumables are showing 0%......I also suspect the main board may be toast too....

Can anyone tell me if I can use a standard SATA HDD? Also, to reload the 'software' how is this accomplished? Is it the firmware that would be needed that can be downloaded from HP?

    Many thanks in advance...

After going through the SM, it seems I will need the 2 files below on a USB stick:

    unix script files x 2
    HDD image file x1

Can anyone tell me where I can obtain these?

    Thanks

hi please ignore the service manual for firmware install as hp have taken over samsung printing they have combined the files into 2
the ui recovery and the the hdd file.
