Samsung CLX 9301 - Strange problem with touch panel

Strange problem: The touch panel on a Samsung 9301 doesn't work when started up, but works perfectly when calibrating.

I can cailbrate the touch panel, and during that process it works perfectly (calibrating as here: How to Calibrate Samsung Clx-9201|Clx-9301|Clx-9251| OPE (Controll Panel) - YouTube)!?

But when started up the panel most often than not is non responsive. Sometimes it works after a while, sometimes not at all.

Since it works 100% when calibrating, I guess that the error is not in the panel, but somewhere else.

    Any ideas where to look?

You can try a simple trick that helped me with that old type of touch sensor. You could try to clean the dust by using an A4 sheet edge for getting between the plastic frame and the touch sensor, focusing on the edges of the screen, I will show you a picture of what I am talking about. If this dont help you probably have a defective touch controller board.
