System Error #02-003. Just as it appears on the screen.

It appears to boot. I see the Samsung splash screen. That error message is the outcome.

Nothing in the service manual in regards to this code. If it fails to boot it's usually a main board problem. Call the Samsung dealer line, they should be able to help. Good luck.

does the machine function normally or is it locked up after it boots up? ive had more harddrive problems with these machines than anything. try turning it on without the hdd and see if it changes anything. also try removing options on the machine and try booting it up (like teh fax board or finisher) if nothing else reloading firmware is always worth a try

was the machine manufactured before November 2008? If so, the fuser lever may sometimes come in contact with the metal bracket on the on the side of the duplex assembly. This bracket can become bent which causes that error within those models prior to Nov. 2008. They redesigned the bracket so everything after Nov.2008 should have new part. The part name is "Bracket-Cam Front" and the part # is JC61-02246A. Good Luck..
