[Error Code] Samsung C8380ND (CLX-8380ND) Waste Toner Full Error with Modified Sensor Fitted

I am currently working on a Samsung C8380ND (CLX-8380ND) with Waste Toner Full Error even after fitting a Modified Sensor Part Number JC96-05048A and the new type waste toner tank.
The new modified sensor appears to just have a longer wiring loom.
Are there more parts to fit to cure this intermittent fault ie:MHVU assy (this is where the sensor plugs in to) or a firmware upgrade also required?
Any constructive input will be appreciated.
