SCX-5935FN Pulling from bypass tray instead of tray 1 for printing

We have a bunch of SCX-5935FNs at an auto dealership and when they print vehicle registrations through an Electronic Vehicle Registration(EVR) program, the print jobs pull from the bypass tray. If there is no paper in the bypass tray, the copier demands that the job be done from the bypass tray.

The job details show that the print job wants 8.5 x 10.98 paper (instead of standard letter), which is why I guess that it wants to pull from the bypass instead of tray 1.

I checked the EVR program for any settings that could force it to print from tray 1 or to change the paper size, but cooulnd't find anything. Is there a way to force printing from tray 1? Or to have tray 1 recognize any non-standard paper sizes?

(BTW, they were using HPs before, and the HPs printed the same reports using tray1.)

I've run into this as well....You may just have to force the driver to use Tray 1 instead of autoselect or use fit to page.
