We have quite a few 5935's in the field and we seem to be going through fusers an awful lot. Biggest issue is they melt down, the UFR melts the pressure roller. This is happening way before the expected life of the fuser assembly. Most of the machines are 2-3 years old with 30-40k on them. They are all past warranty, so I can't submit a claim with Samsung and it's getting expensive replacing fuser units. Anyone else have this same problem? Any solutions?

Update the firmware. Latest version is 45. If using compatible toner discontinue compatible use. We are getting 100K+ on these fusers. We have not had any issues.Comment
