[Misc] Sf-650 flashing "IL NUM SEL DIR E IL NUM GRUPPO"

Hi

We are having a problem with a Samsung SF650 flashing the following message at power on.

"IL NUM SEL DIR E IL NUM GRUPPO"

Doesnt seem to let us do anything to it, cant get into tech mode to try a reset.

Rang Samsung in the hope they had some secret reset, but no luck.

Any ideas?

I'm taking a guess because my translator doesn't comprehend, but it seems as if one of the keys might be stuck down.

It seems to be italian.

Il num sel = il numero selezionato, the selected number
e = and
il num gruppo = the group number
dir = really I don't know

I think there's something in fax mode

See if you can push the menu button,go to system set up,cursor to language and change back to english.

I have next to zero Samsung knowledge, but If I had to guess, that machine has some type of user codes configured...
