We had to order a new developing assy, dont ask why I dont know. But the new assy did not come with developer loaded in it. It never came with the developer assy either. One guy thought maybe it came with a new drum unit? Doesn't make sense to me. So the question is: What is the part number for the developer that goes inside the developer unit?

You have to order the drum unit /developer as a unit (Drum Unit and Developer - MLT-R709 - 100,000 impressions). The developer comes in a pouch and is loaded into the DV unit after cleaning.

that figures. Thanks. One of the guys ordered a drum unit by itself and was scratching his head tryuing to figuire out why they would send developer with the drum and not the dev unit. We have a new machine that samsung told us to change the dev unit for the problem, so we ordered one, it came empty. We are new to Samsung products. not normal if you ask me.
