    Samsung CLX 8540 hard drive

    Does anyone know what hard drive is in this machine? I know it's a 160GB but what make and style. I have a machine that came in without the hard drive. Does anyone know? I have some drives from a SCX6545. But they are only 120GB. Probably wouldn't work.

      Most likely it uses a SATA drive. You can tell by the 2 connectors on the wire harness for the drive, or by the connectors on the the board the drive connects to. brand won't matter.
