Hello, I sellthe Ricoh / Savin products and service them as well as a few others such asBrother, HP, Konica-Minolta, Sharp and Canon. I am thinking of picking up asecond line like the Copystar or Samsung and wanted to see if I could get someopinions from Samsung pros such as yourselves as to which way I should go.Issues such as how easy is it to repair/rebuild fusers and drums and DV units,reliability/longevity of parts, cost of parts, firmware upgrade procedure, etc.Any comments really appreciated.

We sell and service Samsung, and we have completely stopped selling their colour stuff. It is garbage. Their black and white is ok.
PS. Don't put them on service contract, you will lose your shirt. They never get close to projected yield on supplies.
Hope this helpsComment

Yes, it helped a lot, I really appreciate this! I was suspecting they might not be so great from what I had heard but this really defines it in a nutshell!Comment

Since most of the major brands I can't get - since dealers down the street have them already - does anyone have a suggestion as to a brand I can carry if I am a small one-man operation? I do plan on getting a few agents working for me soon however.Comment
