    samsung 6250 stops every 8 copies

    hi customer called and said his 6250 stops after every 8 copies and either says recalculating or adjusting, he cant remember. this happens on black and white. he has not made more than 8 colors copies at a time so doesnt know if it happens on color also. any ideas. i know it shouldnt do this thanks

    sound like its doing process control what the consumbles life like colour drum?s
    transfer belt unit?

      hi it is a brand new copier and only does this from the bypass tray. they run alot of post card size paper through bypass(memorial cards)

        I haven't worked on Samsung equipment, officially anyway, so this might be nonsense.
        Still, here's a couple of general purpose suggestions you may wish to consider:
        You might want to see if this has something to do with a setting for heavy paper. I'd guess the memorial cards are heavier stock than normal paper.
        Also, narrow paper like postcards sometimes need different settings.
        While it is small, there is a chance the machine is operating normally because of those settings.
        Sorry if that was a waste of time.

          I agree.If it runs plain paper from tray with no issues then has to do with their job possibly and could be normal machine operation.
