DSK removal

Has anyone successfully removed a DSK from a Sharp MFP? I have a customer that inherited a MX-M283 and hates that when doing large scan jobs they must wait so long for it to be cleared. Possibly is there a way to disable the data clearing after every job. I've looked and cant find it. Possibly a SIM or Soft Switch? Thanks

If you can get a regular PRG and Boot ROM set, your data security kit will be gone.
