Card Reader installation ?

Anyone installed card readers on 364/654/5111 etc? Have to install several later this week...not looking forward to it. Have AMX2's for the units that don't come with it standard. Realize that is simple Product Key entry. The readers are from Sharp supported ACDI. Account did not want to purchase PaperCut with them...so they are simply used as access. Biggest question would be how does this work with credentialing and/or LDAP on server. Their IT should be able to work through this ? Easy/ Hard ?

its pretty easy to install. make sure you getting the link cable to connect card reader to connector next to front usb.
need to set sim 55-3 sw6 bit 8 to 1 to enable card reader. if they are not using papercut you have to use user control pins from the id cards. adding LDAP details is easy task for their IT.
Easiest thing to do is setup one machine and do a device clone + document filing data to use on others.
