    Sharp MX4141N Ghosting While Printing

Have this machine, that intermittently while Printing, has a ghost of printed page. Could not take a sample because they had was confidential. At first I thought it was the machine but not so sure. The copy volume is under 100k. Checked Drums and Charges. All seem in order. I thought that may need to just replace Black Drum but I actually thought it was a fluke when I couldn't repeat the issue described.

Thought about the Fuser - it's like new. Not to say that there's not an issue.

Is this anything anyone has seen or had to deal with?

    Input greatly appreciated.

Had a similar problem not so long ago of a ghosting intermittent image not sure it is the same as yours but mine was a small sheet of plastic wrapper caught in the primary transfer cleaning unit. I hope this helps

I'd be looking at the transfer belt, make sure the cleaning blade is ok.

sometimes this happen due to drum blade failure. probably black one. replacing the drum unit or cleaning blade will fix it.

Thank you for all replies. I recreated a excel doc and issue continued. Then I knew it was definitely machine issue & not program. Remembered back to a similar issue with a B&W machine. There it was the Drum Unit. Took a leap of faith & changed the Black Drum. Immediately fixed issue. Go figure. Because the system is fairly new, I have to give thanks to the Chinese. Thank you for your input!
