    Color off when Printing

    MX-2310U with 55k blk / 75k col
    Just had full PM
    Internal prints are good
    copy quality is good
Printing from any computer results in bad quality (colors are way too dark).

46-74 never completes but always is in an endless cycle of "press ok to continue" it never states "COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE"
Print calibration from the system settings appears to have been successful, though does not complete from the sims.

    performed the following:
    Firmware Update
    25-4 yield adjust
    SIT ChartCalibration 63-3 CCD Calibration
    63-2 Shading
44-61 sensor thatlooks at TB made sure it's set to default
    64-5 calibration
    Problem Persists.

Please note also, at the beginning of this adventure, customer received E7-93 once.
Attached are examples as well as a 22-6

Today another Technician of mine had a different machine (MX-4101) with a very similar issue.
I've opened a support ticket with Sharp with no luck there yet.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

are you doing a sim 44-27 before executing sim 46-74 ? try doing this

    sim 44-27
    sim 44-2
    restart
    sim 46-74
    sim 44-6

do a sim 64-5 with item A-4 and check the gray. If the gray is ok and still printing too dark it have to be adjusted in the driver.

TT-20393, this is correct calibration procedure for 2610 series, which 2310u is part of. basically in order:

44-13, 44-61 if no jig, you just enter data from label inside were black toner or on the sensor unit.
      44-2
      50-22
      clean optics
      63-3 sit chart
      63-5 no sit chart
      44-6
      44-26
46-74 or 46-24(copy) and 67-24(print) do this at least 3 times and using 98 bright 28lb paper.

63-08 to set copy color balance and 67-28 for print color balance (service to factory) this way when user does a color calibration it is using the calibration parameters you just set in the sim calibration.
