[Jamming] Sharp MX-3140N

Good day,

Gentlemen, I need you advice regarding my problem in Sharp MX-3140N. Intermittent jamming. The history of jamming is PDPPD1_N (Interface inlet port not reached JAM) all the jam in history is this jam code...I clean all the sensors in the finisher and paper pass no luck. When paper jam occur first paper is in the paper pass the second paper is under the registration and the third will pass only at the cassette. It seems the second paper is delay. I try to replace the 1'st feeding unit with no luck test it even in different cassette the same. replace sensors CPFD1 and PPD1 also with no luck. I will try to replace PPD2 and planning to dis-engage the paper pass and finisher if the trouble will occur ...Any suggestion will highly appreciated Thanks in advance.

You should replace the entry sensor into the paper pass unit.

Are you finding the paper on top of the pass thru unit or under the upper transport unit?

If it is on top of the upper transport unit you have a broken solenoid lever.

Try running machine with misfeed disabled in TC 7. This will eliminate sensor problems if paper still jams, indicating a mechanical problem.

I already replace sensor PPD2 and entry sensor in paper pass no luck...I will check the solenoid lever tomorrow and TC 7...

I believe there was a tech bulletin about removing the foam rollers in the exit section
