Hi, please forgive me if this thread belongs elsewhere, but I have a quick question about Sharp's scan to email function. I've had two different clients ask me this question in the space of one week, and I have no idea what the answer is.
Basically, they've been using a Sharp MFP to scan documents to their email. When the email is received, this text is included in the body of the email:
DEVICE NAME: Not Set
DEVICE MODEL: MX-M450N
LOCATION: Not Set
FILE FORMAT: PDF MMR(G4)
RESOLUTION: 300dpi x 300dpi
Attached file is scanned image in PDF format.
Use Acrobat(R)Reader4.0 or later version, or Adobe(R)Reader(TM) of Adobe
Systems Incorporated to view the document.
Acrobat(R)Reader4.0 or later version, or Adobe(R)Reader(TM) can be
downloaded from the following URL:
Adobe, the Adobe logo, Acrobat, the Adobe PDF logo, and Reader are
registered trademarks or trademarks of Adobe Systems Incorporated in the
United States and other countries.
Adobe
The clients want to get rid of this information, the "Adobe signature" as one client calls it. Is this possible? So far I haven't found any way to remove this text. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
