Been trying to put into service a Sharp MX-FN11 finisher on a MX-M363N (off-lease w/ 118K). It had no staples in the cartridge, so loaded up w/ fresh pack of AR-SC2 staples, and the sucker fires continuously until the staples are all jammed up. Seems to be pre-forming the front 2 staples properly, like they do, but damned thing won't stop and simply keeps firing/stapling until 5 or 6 staples get jammed up and mangled behind the front cover of the little plastic staple cartridge. It is as if it is getting a continous signal to fire the stapler. Doesn't behave this way in simulation mode 03-03. Maybe the last owner/servicer of this beast gave up on fixing this and emptied the staple cartridge intentionally. By the way,
once you are in sim. mode, e.g. 03-03 to test finisher mechanical components, the stapler stops firing, and you can actuate in manually one cycle at a time. We can all thank Canon for these lovely finishers.
